Undergraduate Admissions

In this Section

Clarkson is the ideal university for someone who wants to learn how the world works and how to make it work better. Bring your energy and talent, and Clarkson will give you the skills and experience to be a creative problem-solver, effective communicator, team player, and team leader.

Each of our more than 50 undergraduate programs, from global supply chain management to environmental science and physical therapy to entrepreneurship, offers you a fully personal and personalized experience that blends academics, student life, and real-world exposure. And, make no mistake, we’ve got an incredible engineering school.

You + Clarkson
There’s a place for you at Clarkson. We’re environmentalists, entrepreneurs, gamers, athletes, artists, future doctors, future CEOs, and futurists. Some things we all have in common: We’re smart, we’ve got plans, and we’re always up for an adventure. If the idea of working all night on an animated video for physics class sounds more like fun than work, you’ll fit right in at Clarkson.

How to Apply
To apply to Clarkson, you’ll need to fill out either the Clarkson Unconventional Application or the Common Application, supply test scores, teacher references—all that good stuff:

Financial Aid
Nine out of 10 Clarkson students receive financial aid and we encourage everyone to apply. To be eligible for aid, you must submit your application for admission by January 15 and your Free Application for Federal Financial Aid (FAFSA) by February 15.

Visit Us
The only way to really understand Clarkson is to meet Clarkson. Schedule a personalized visit, which includes a campus tour tailored to your interests, the opportunity to sit in on a class in your expected major, talk with an admissions counselor, and even meet one-on-one with a professor.
