Beta Gamma Sigma

Beta Gamma Sigma is the premier honor society for students enrolled in schools of business administration and management.  Its counterparts in arts and sciences and engineering are Phi Beta Kappa and Tau Beta Pi, respectively.  Students can be invited to join in the spring of their junior or senior years, or as graduate students, if they are in the top of their class (top 10% for undergraduate students and top 20% for graduate students).  The induction ceremony is held each year in April, the day before University Recognition Day.  Clarkson’s chapter of BGS recognizes outstanding performance among faculty and students each year with the Ralph Janaro Memorial Award for a professor selected by the BGS members and a $1,000 scholarship for an outstanding student (awarded in partnership with BGS National).

The advisor for the Clarkson chapter of Beta Gamma Sigma is Sandy Fisher, Associate Professor of Organizational Studies.  She can be reached at sfisher@clarkson.edu or 315-268-6430.
