NEW CAMP LEADERSHIP

This year there was a planned change in CAMP leadership. Dr. Babu stepped down as the CAMP Director on 6/30/16; but, will remain a Clarkson faculty member, active researcher and CAMP champion. Dr. Marilyn Freeman is the new CAMP Director. She has been a Clarkson faculty member since January 2013, holding the Jesanis Endowed Chair and overseeing the Materials Science and Engineering academic program. In 2015 she also served as the Deputy Director of CAMP. Freeman brings to CAMP a very strong technical, managerial and leadership background, having conducted research in diamond like carbon capacitors and managed several U.S. Army R&D Centers and the U.S. Army’s Research and Technology portfolio ($2.5B). Freeman is assisted by Elisabeth Cain, Business Development Manager and David Gower, Outreach Program Manager.
