The Career Center is the perfect place to start a career search. Whether you’re a first-year student or an alumna/us, our staff will work directly with you to create an individualized plan to meet your career objectives. Our services include major exploration, job/ internship strategy and assistance, co-op program, graduate school preparation, resume and cover letter writing, and interview skills. Our staff takes an active role in helping you to actualize your goals. The Career Center is located on the second floor of the newly renovated Educational Resources Center (ERC). Job Search & Networking

This is Clarkson’s exclusive career network for both current students and alumni. Create a profile, post your resume, research employers, and search for and apply directly to jobs, internships and co-ops.

CareerShift offers you an easy to use web resources to conduct and organize your search. With CareerShift, you can:

  • Search, store & record job listings at all publically posted websites, company websites, and newspapers.
  • Get inside contact information immediately, including e-mail addresses, for millions of companies, even alumni, then save and manage your lists.
  • Upload/ Copy and Paste as many targeted resumes and cover letters needed or upload your current documents.
  • Work with Career Services to create unlimited e-mail campaigns with your saved contacts, resumes and cover letters.

InterviewStream is the premier resource for interview preparation. Using a webcam, students simulate an interview by recording themselves answering industry-based questions. InterviewStream has over 1,500 questions from which to choose. In addition, the Career Center has created interviews by discipline and category. If you do not have a webcam, the Career Center has one available for use. After your interview, please come and view it with a Career Center representative or send out your interview link for review.

Network with Clarkson alumni and find out what you can do with your major, get interview and resume tips, and get answers to all of your other career related questions.
