Congratulations on your acceptance to the Graduate School at Clarkson University.  We look forward to working with you!

As you prepare to begin your studies, there are a number of things you'll need to take care of.  Everything you need to know can be found on this website.  Below is a checklist to guide you, with links provided to the required forms and information.  If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to contact us - our contact information can be found here.

Things to do:

  • Review your admission and financial aid letters - make sure you fully understand your admission and financial aid offer, and any expenses you will be responsible for as a graduate student at Clarkson.  If you have any questions, contact your graduate coordinator.
  • Student Health Forms (click the link to download and print the forms) - if you anticipate spending a period of time on campus at any point during your graduate degree, you will need to complete these forms.  For more information, contact the Student Health Center.
  • Important dates - Graduate students should be prepared to begin classes by Thursday, January 12.

Before classes start:

  • Pay tuition & fees and complete online SAS check-in
  • "Meet" with your advisor to plan course enrollment - detailed instructions on completing course enrollment can be found here.  Registration and check-in MUST be completed by Wednesday, January 18.  After this date, a $50 late registration fee will be charged, you will not be able to attend classes, and any financial aid may be withdrawn.
  • Computer Access & Set Up - obtain your username and PIN to complete password set-up (if you did not do this during the admission process).  This will allow you to access PeopleSoft, Campus Email, Moodle (for courses with online components), and any other technical requirements.  For assistance, contact the OIT Helpdesk - or 315-268-6700.
  • Graduate Conduct & Integrity Code - this will be provided to you by your graduate coordinator.  Read the packet and return the signed front page to your graduate coordinator within the first week of classes.
