School Of Business Names Frascatore New Undergrad Programs Director

POTSDAM, N.Y. -- Mark R. Frascatore (FRAS-ka-tor) of Norwood, associate professor of Economics at Clarkson University, was recently appointed director of School of Business Undergraduate Programs by Dean Timothy Sugrue.

Frascatore, who joined the Clarkson faculty in 1994, says that his main duties will include undergraduate curriculum changes, overseeing student academic affairs and working with the Admission office to increase enrollment.
Frascatore has been widely published in a number of respected economics journals, including the International Journal of Industrial Organization, the Journal of Economic Behavior and Organization, and the Canadian Journal of Economics. He has received a number of teaching awards, most notably, the Clarkson University Outstanding New Teacher Award and the School of Business Graduate Programs Best Professor Award. 

He has also served the campus community in several capacities including being a member of the University Senate, chair of the Academic Standards Committee, adviser to the Graduate Business Association and chair of the CUSB Research Committee.

Frascatore received his bachelor’s degree in economics from SUNY Binghamton and his master’s and doctoral degrees in economics from Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University.
