University Names New Greek Affairs Coordinator

Clarkson University’s Office of Student Affairs has announced that Jason Libby has joined the Dean of Students staff as Greek Affairs coordinator.

“I am confident that Jason will provide excellent leadership for our fraternities and sororities, as we move toward a model Greek system for Clarkson,” said Dean of Students Stephen Newkofsky.

Libby comes to Clarkson from the University of Maine at Orono, where he recently completed his master's degree in student development in higher education.

A member of Lambda Chi Alpha, Jason has worked with the Greek community in a variety of settings including his work as the Greek life consultant at the University of Maine, and live-in chapter adviser to the Phi Kappa Sigma fraternity.

Libby, who was selected after a national search was conducted during the spring semester, replaces former coordinator Matt Tessier, who has moved on to teach at Brushton-Moira Central School in Brushton, N.Y.
