School Of Business Appoints Three As Faculty Representatives

Clarkson University School of Business Dean Timothy F. Sugrue has announced a reorganization of the faculty, appointing three faculty members to serve as faculty representatives.

“To foster faculty governance and research productivity, we have moved away from a model of having an Undergraduate Office, to a structure where three area coordinators will represent faculty groups,” said Sugrue.

Sugrue said the dean’s office would take over administrative duties originally handled by the Undergraduate Office.

Mark R. Frascatore, associate professor of economics, will become area coordinator for the Faculty of Economics and Financial Studies. “Mark brings a wealth of experience as faculty member and administrator,” said Sugrue. “He has been recipient of the Clarkson Teaching Award for Excellence and has published in several economic journals.”

Charles T. Mosier, professor of operations, will represent the Faculty of Operations and Information Systems. “Charles has been with Clarkson for almost 20 years and has been successful in garnering several research grants and consistently publishes in high-level journals,” said Sugrue.

Finally, Rajiv Dant, associate professor of marketing, will be the area coordinator for the Faculty of Consumer and Organizational Studies. “Rajiv recently joined the School of Business from Boston University. He brings a solid publishing record and experience in supply chain marketing,” Sugrue said.
