Thanks to generous donations by staff, faculty and students, Clarkson University last week shipped two pallets of supplies needed by workers at the World Trade Center site.relief

“The response was overwhelming,” says University Telephone Systems Manager Berbie White, who coordinated the project. “The boxes were out on campus for less than a week. It's truly amazing what can be accomplished when everyone pulls together for a common cause.”

White also thanked Mike Walsh of Walsh Trucking, who provided shipping for the pallets to New York City at no charge.

Photo Caption: Pictured as the pallets are being loaded are Clarkson Telephone Technician Rick Beebe, who distributed and picked up the on-campus contribution boxes; Rob Turner, Walsh Trucking driver; White; and Shipping and Receiving Clerk Doug Arquette, who made the shipping arrangements.
