Founded in 1986, CAMP is one of 15 elite New York State Centers for Advanced Technology. The presentation was made at CAMP’s annual meeting in Canandaigua, New York.  Today CAMP is recognized within New York and internationally as a preeminent research organization closely connected to industry through its research collaborations, symposia and conferences, and economic development pursuits.

President Collins acknowledged that it was the early relationships with companies like Xerox that provided leadership for the strategies and operating procedures that enabled and sustain CAMP’s world-class reputation. He went on to say “the influence of Xerox at Clarkson is felt not only through CAMP interactions, but also across the entire Clarkson community through hiring of Clarkson graduates to support Xerox research activities and commercial enterprise, and the influence of generous corporate philanthropy over the years in support of mutual goals and objectives.
