Clarkson University's Dr. Dana Barry Receives New Honors

Dana M. Barry, technical writer and editor at Clarkson University's Center for Advanced Materials Processing (CAMP) has been named "Woman of the Year 2006" by the American Biographical Institute. barry

This award commends her high level of international accomplishments. Barry has been selected for inclusion in England's publication "2000 Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century," Gale's "American Men and Women of Science 2006," and in an "International Directory of Experts and Expertise." Her biography appears in Marquis Who's Who 7th Edition of "Who's Who in American Education" and in Marquis Who's Who 25th Silver Anniversary Edition of "Who's Who of American Women." In addition, Barry is being considered for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who 9th Edition of "Who's Who in Science and Engineering" and in Marquis Who's Who 24th Edition of "Who's Who in the World."

Barry serves as Scientific Board President for Ansted University. She is a certified professional chemist and an officer for the Northern New York Section of the American Chemical Society. She also has permanent teacher certification in New York State to teach chemistry and the general sciences in grades 7-12. In addition Barry has over 100 professional publications including six books. Her work is published in Malaysia, India, England, Australia, Japan, and the United States.
