Clarkson University's Dana Barry Releases New Audio Book

The creative science book uses mystery stories to entertain readers as they develop critical thinking and creative problem-solving skills. The new release, which consists of three discs, is the audio version of Barry's paperback book with the same title published by Tate in April. Hideyuki Kanematsu is Barry's coauthor for both books. He is a professor at Suzuka National College of Technology in Japan, where Dr. Barry served as a visiting professor in 2002 and 2005.barry-book-2007

The audio book includes the following sections: Preface by Authors, Introduction to the Mystery Stories by Hollywood Actor Eric M. Barry, the stories Mail Mystery and Mind Games Plus, Information About the Authors, a Teacher's Answer Key, and the Science Education Component with a Model for Problem Solving, Science Process Skills, Levels of Learning in Bloom's Taxonomy, Science Terms, and Science Activities.

The audio book is distributed by Ingram Spring Arbor, the largest book distributor in the United States, and can be ordered at any bookstore, on the Web at or, and at the Borders Books, Barnes and Noble, and Walden Books Web sites.

Paperback copies of the book are still available at the University Bookstore in Potsdam and at the Brewer Bookstore in Canton. In addition to the United States, the books are available in Canada, the United Kingdom, Japan, France, and Germany.
