Adamson received his bachelor of science degree in business and technical communications with distinction from Clarkson in 1992 and his master of business administration degree from Clarkson in 1993.

Since Adamson's arrival at TTI Instruments in 2002, sales have doubled from $7.5 million to about $15 million per year. TTI Instruments is now one of the fastest growing companies in Vermont and one of the top-50 companies in the state. Adamson is credited with launching and managing the company's government sales program, which saw an increase in sales from less than 5 percent to over 20 percent of total sales. adamson-woodstock-07

Adamson also started TTI's search engine optimization efforts, hiring Lindsay Wood, a 2001 Clarkson graduate, to run the program. Adamson has since looked to Clarkson for additional staff and now three Clarkson alumni are working for the company.

Adamson previously served as director of marketing at Vasa Inc. in Essex, Vt.; account manager at Alliance Data Systems in Columbus, Ohio; and Claritas in Wilton, Conn.; and director of admissions at Paul Smiths College.

Adamson lives in South Burlington with his wife, Sue Mowrer, and their two daughters, Annie and Wynne.
