Digital Arts & Sciences Exhibition at Clarkson University May 10

Clarkson University's first annual Digital Arts and Sciences Senior Exhibition will be held at Clarkson's Adirondack Lodge on Saturday, May 10, from 9 to 10:30 pm. This commencement weekend event is a showcase of the senior thesis projects from the inaugural graduating class of digital arts and sciences majors.Kubiak Art

Presented in this screening-style exhibition will be a mixture of both independent and group projects created by students graduating in this new major. A variety of digital artwork will be exhibited, including digital photography, video game design, interactive 3D mapping, digital video, and 3D animation.

The Digital Arts & Sciences Program is a newly designed Clarkson University interdisciplinary major, which spans the boundaries between the sciences and the arts. Students take advantage of programs in digital art, math, computer science, and communication & media.

The program's objective is to combine artistic and scientific skills and interests to develop creative talent, with a strong technical foundation. Graduates from this program pursue careers in media such as product design, video games, film, graphic design, animation, Web design and architecture.
