Thinking of Starting a Business? Clarkson University Offers Business Startup Workshop and My Small Business 101 Series

Thinking of starting a business? The Reh Center for Entrepreneurship at Clarkson University will offer a Business Startup workshop in addition to the fall My Small Business 101 series.

The Business Startup workshop will be held on Monday, September 9, from 6-8:30 p.m. at Clarkson University and will be taught by Brooke James, business advisor at the New York State Small Business Development Center. Registration by Monday, September 2, is required.
The popular My Small Business 101 series, taught by Marc Compeau, will return on September 16, 23, 30, and October 7 and will be held from 6-8 p.m. in Bertrand H. Snell Hall Room 212 (hill campus).

Topics covered in My Small Business 101 include: Thinking Strategically, Managing Your Resources, Marketing Your Business, and Managing Your Finances.
Registration is required and will be offered on a first-come, first-served basis. There is no cost to attend. Please contact Ashley Sweeney, program coordinator for the Reh Center, at 315-268-4350 or to register.

There is no charge to participate in either of these classes.
