U.S. News & World Report Ranks Clarkson University Online MBA Program in Nation's Top-40

U.S. News & World Report has ranked Clarkson University's online MBA program as one of the top-40 in the nation.

Michael WassermanClarkson's School of Business offers both a master of business administration (MBA) and a master of science in engineering management degree online.

U.S. News released its 2016-2017 rankings of the Best Online MBA Programs, saying these schools are "the best online master's degree programs in business administration, based on factors such as admissions selectivity, reputation for excellence among peer institutions and academic and career support services offered to students."

"This ranking is an indication of the continued success of our faculty and students and the achievements that set them apart as leaders in their field," says Associate Dean of Graduate Business Programs Stephen J. Sauer. "Our commitment to enhancing our curriculum ensures that our graduates have the most relevant knowledge and skills to be stronger candidates as they enter the competitive job market. The online learning environment is developed to meet the needs of our students, allowing them to connect with their professors and classmates as if they were in the room, and providing the resources to complete their MBA without sacrifice to academic rigor."

The opportunity to study online is vital to students who need an MBA, but cannot attend school full-time or part-time because of their travel schedules. By leveraging information technology with online programs, Clarkson's School of Business connects students and faculty by providing an experience equal to being on campus in the classroom.

Clarkson's online MBA classes are taught by the same regular full-time professors who teach on campus, which differentiates Clarkson's program from many of those offered by other schools.

"Our online MBA classes are taught by the same faculty who teach on campus, and facilitated learning enables them to maintain a high level of interaction with our online students," says School of Business Dean Dayle M. Smith. "Clarkson's established partnerships with industry allow us to develop the curriculum and networking opportunities that prepare our graduates to be successful in the global marketplace."

Clarkson offers distance learning graduate study opportunities in business, engineering, science and technology through a unique click-and-brick model. The University’s off-campus graduate programs engage students in both their places of employment through either real-time or self-directed collaborative learning and use of real-time work projects -- the click part of the equation -- and on campus -- the brick -- through intense immersion experiences.
