Financial Aid Professionals to Assist Families with FAFSA Applications Jan. 30 at Clarkson University

College Goal NYFinancial aid professionals from several northern New York colleges and universities will be available from 9 a.m. to noon to answer questions and help families apply for tens of millions of dollars in various forms of financial aid in Bertrand H. Snell Hall (#20 on the map at

College Goal NY will assist families with the online completion of both the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) and the New York State Tuition Assistance Program (TAP).

This is a free program, but families must register in advance at .

The College Goal NY website contains information regarding the documentation families should bring with them. Students do not have to be applicants at any particular college to participate in this event.

College Goal NY participants will have the opportunity to apply for a need-based scholarship, and the New York State Higher Education Services Corporation (HESC) will select the winners. Details on how to apply will be available at the event.

College Goal NY is a collaborative public service project of the New York State Financial Aid Administrators Association (NYSFAAA) and the New York State HESC. The program is funded through a generous grant from United Student Aid Funds and supported by funds from the College Access Challenge Grant Program.
