Fadda Appointed Assistant Professor of Physician Assistant Studies at Clarkson University

Roberto Fadda was appointed assistant professor of physician assistant studies at Clarkson University, earlier this year, when he started teaching.

Roberto FaddaHe received his doctor of dentistry degree from the College of Dentistry, University of Ferrara, Italy, graduating summa cum laude. He received his doctor of medicine degree from the School of Medicine, University of Ferrara, graduating summa cum laude. In addition, he completed courses in anatomy from New York University and in neuroanatomy from Albert Einstein College.

Before coming to this position at Clarkson University, Fadda was assistant professor of anatomy at the University of Ferrara and Trieste Medical School. In addition, he was a researcher in the Department of Morphology and Embryology at the University of Ferrara.

Fadda is a medical practitioner and cell biology researcher experienced in instructing medical students in clinically oriented anatomical and structural sciences, including anatomy, histology, medical imaging, and pathology.

In addition to his classroom experience, he has taught, has advised students and assisted in program coordination and curriculum development. Fadda has delivered training in all aspects of clinically oriented anatomical sciences, including gross, microscopic, embryological, and neurologic in lecture and lab settings.

As a researcher, Fadda has focused on granulocytic differentiation in myeloid leukemia and the development of differential diagnoses. He has published articles on his research, in addition to translating medical texts from Italian to English.

His work at the signal transduction unit at the University of Ferrara included directing the study of the structural characterization of molecular mechanisms, and the study of interaction of proteins with other cellular entities. He also presented his findings to physicians, hospital practitioners, pharmacists, and organizations supported by medical and scientific research.

In 2005, Fadda established a private practice as a physician in Ferrara, providing primary medical care. He also practiced general dentistry there from 2000-2005.
