Clarkson University Alumnus Ken Camarco to Speak at December Recognition Ceremony, Dec. 17

C5 Enterprises LLC President and Founder Ken Camarco '85 will speak at Clarkson University's December Recognition Ceremony on Saturday, Dec. 17.

Ken CamarcoThe University holds a special December Recognition Ceremony for graduates who are not planning to return to the May Commencement. Camarco, who earned a bachelor of science degree in mechanical and industrial engineering from Clarkson, will address students and their families at the ceremony.

C5 Enterprises LLC is a startup company developing innovative material handling and cargo management products, in addition to providing business process improvement advisory services across a variety of industries.

Camarco was previously the senior vice president of global operations and business systems for Pall Corporation, a filtration, separation and purification leader providing solutions to meet the critical fluid management needs of customers across the broad spectrum of life sciences and industry. In this role, he was responsible for global manufacturing, supply chain and information technology.

Camarco was a member of Pall Corp.’s executive management team, and in 2014 he was appointed chief customer satisfaction officer to lead the corporation’s "customer first" initiatives to develop a culture of service excellence across all customer touch points. During his tenure at Pall, Camarco architected a new operations strategy and developed the team and associated systems to deploy it. In 2015, Pall was sold to Danaher Corp.

Prior to joining Pall Corp, Camarco was a founder and principal in the WaxWing Group, a global business development, technology and process improvement advisory firm. Engagements included technology companies involved in mobile asset tracking, electrical smart grid monitoring and energy efficient lighting.
 
Earlier in his career, Camarco served more than 20 years at Cooper Industries, PLC, which is now a division of Eaton Corp., a global electrical products and tools manufacturer. Beginning his tenure in Cooper’s manufacturing trainee program, his early career included positions in operations and supply chain, design engineering, and sales and marketing.

Later executive leadership positions included president of Cooper Notification, a high-growth safety and security business. Camarco's career at Cooper also included responsibility for Cooper’s business systems and technology infrastructure as chief information officer, where he led the development and deployment of the corporation’s global enterprise business system across nine divisions and 30,000 employees located in more than 20 countries.
