You’ve graduated from Clarkson, you’re enjoying a successful career, and now you’re ready to settle down and buy a house. But, like any Clarkson graduate knows, preparation is the key to success. Sure, you’ve bought big-ticket items before, but there is no equivalent experience to buying your first home. Join one of Clarkson’s own philanthropic advisors, former real estate attorney, and recent first-time home-owner, Hillary Vaillancourt as she walks you through the process to home ownership. She’ll explain the basic legal and financial terms, walk you through a typical sale, show you examples of the (many, many, many) forms you’ll be signing, and offer some tips on how to prepare for the process and for the reality of being a new homeowner.

Hillary is excited to be a part of this experience with you and looks forward to your participation in the CU Live! Buying Your First Home Sweet Home webinar!
