Final Projects

In this Section

At the end of the Energy and the Environment Curriculum, whether in a science or technology class, students are asked to do a final project. The final projects for science classes have often been poster or powerpoint presentations, but some teachers and fellows have chosen to make the projects more open-ended. The basic idea of the final project is that students use the energy concepts that they have learned throughout the unit and apply them to a real-life problem. Students are asked to clearly communicate those concepts and their solution (or at least problem-solving process) to the rest of their class.
