Han Appointed Assistant Professor of Digital Arts and Sciences at Clarkson University

Bang Geul Han has been appointed assistant professor of digital arts and sciences at Clarkson University. She begins teaching this fall.Han Appointed Assistant Professor of Digital Arts and Sciences at Clarkson University

Han received her bachelor of fine arts in painting at Seoul National University and her master of fine arts in electronic integrated arts at the New York State College of Ceramics at Alfred University. She was also a Skowhegan Fellow at the Skowhegan School of Painting & Sculpture in Maine.

Before coming to Clarkson, she was an assistant digital arts instructor, an instructor for academic technology and digital arts system administrator at Bennington College and assistant professor of interdisciplinary electronic arts at Wayne State University in Detroit.

Her professional interests include digital media, video production, criticism and theory of new media culture, computer programming, web design interdisciplinary visual arts, and interactive multi-media installation and applications.

She had solo art exhibitions at Sarah Lawrence College and Alfred University and many group exhibitions and screenings throughout the United States and in other countries, including Australia, China and Japan.
