Clarkson University to Host Teddy Bear Toss for Local Hospitals

Clarkson University's Physician Assistant Program will host a Teddy Bear Toss during the Clarkson men's hockey game against Union College on Saturday, February 1, to benefit child patients at local hospitals.

Fans who bring a new stuffed animal to toss on the ice during the game will receive a free general admission ticket to the game. If the stuffed animal is wrapped in plastic wrap, participants will also receive two tickets to an upcoming women’s hockey game.

All donated stuffed animals will go to children at local hospitals, including Canton-Potsdam Hospital, Claxton-Hepburn Medical Center, Massena Memorial Hospital, Alice Hyde Medical Center, Adirondack Medical Center, Carthage Area Hospital and the Guthrie Clinic at Fort Drum.

The Teddy Bear Toss will occur after the first period of play during the hockey game. Participants will be invited to toss their stuffed animals onto the ice at that time.
