Clarkson University is again featured in the latest edition of Best Graduate Schools by U.S. News Media Group. Highlights of the rankings will be published in the U.S. News Best Graduate Schools 2016 guidebook in April.

Clarkson University's Technology Advancement CenterGraduate education at Clarkson University provides a high degree of collaboration within its rigorous research and learning opportunities. The School of Arts and Sciences, School of Business, Wallace H. Coulter School of Engineering and the Institute for a Sustainable Environment provide programs of study leading to the master of business administration, master of engineering, master of science, doctor of philosophy, and doctor of physical therapy degrees.

U.S. News & World Report ranks Clarkson's online MBA program as one of the top-40 in the nation. Its School of Business offers both a master of business administration (MBA) and a master of science in engineering management degree online.

Last week, Clarkson University and Union Graduate College announced their intent to pursue a mutually exclusive discussion to explore a merger of graduate programs. Clarkson’s national reputation in engineering, science and management would reinforce Union Graduate College’s strengths in those related disciplines, and offer additional resources to benefit students and alumni of each school. Meanwhile, Union Graduate College’s well-regarded programs in bioethics, healthcare management and education would allow Clarkson to expand its graduate offerings.

Clarkson also offers distance learning graduate study opportunities in business, engineering, science and technology through a unique click-and-brick model. The University’s off-campus graduate programs engage students in both their places of employment through either real-time or self-directed collaborative learning and use of real-time work projects -- the click part of the equation -- and on campus -- the brick -- through intense immersion experiences.

According to PayScale Inc.'s 2015 College Salary Report, Clarkson University is ranked #12 in Best Master's Degree Programs by Salary Potential and its graduates have some of the highest salaries in the nation.

Career opportunities are growing quickly in fields where graduate study is required. A recent Bureau of Labor Statistics report, which analyzed projected job growth between 2010 and 2020, says that "The fastest growth is projected in occupations assigned to the master's degree level; these occupations are projected to grow by 21.7 percent."

Clarkson University launches leaders into the global economy. One in five alumni already leads as a CEO, VP or equivalent senior executive of a company. Located just outside the Adirondack Park in Potsdam, N.Y., Clarkson is a nationally recognized research university for undergraduates with select graduate programs in signature areas of academic excellence directed toward the world's pressing issues. Through 50 rigorous programs of study in engineering, business, arts, sciences and health sciences, the entire learning-living community spans boundaries across disciplines, nations and cultures to build powers of observation, challenge the status quo, and connect discovery and engineering innovation with enterprise.
