“Pete and Chandra's donation greatly expands opportunities for our students to produce audio for videogames, film soundtracks, and music," said Professor of Communication and Media Johndan Johnson-Eilola.

Clarkson's communication and media program offers core communication skills with in-depth specializations in allied fields, like digital arts, computer science, business, biology and psychology.

“One of the key things I learned about technology while a student at Clarkson is that, no matter how impressive it is, no technology achieves value until it is used to create," said Wargo. "Whether it’s used to solve problems, enhance communications, or create new and engaging forms of art -- how we use the technology is far more important than the technology itself. It’s humbling and gratifying to see our gift being put to such creative use.”

Clarkson University launches leaders into the global economy. One in five alumni already leads as a CEO, VP or equivalent senior executive of a company. Located just outside the Adirondack Park in Potsdam, N.Y., Clarkson is a nationally recognized research university for undergraduates with select graduate programs in signature areas of academic excellence directed toward the world's pressing issues. Through 50 rigorous programs of study in engineering, business, arts, sciences and the health professions, the entire learning-living community spans boundaries across disciplines, nations and cultures to build powers of observation, challenge the status quo, and connect discovery and engineering innovation with enterprise.
