Clarkson University Welcomes Feng as Associate Professor of Finance & Investment

Clarkson University has welcomed Zhilan Feng as an associate professor of finance & investment.

Zhilan FengFeng was previously a faculty member at Union Graduate College (UGC), which merged into Clarkson in February. She is based at Clarkson's Capital Region Campus in Schenectady, N.Y., the former UGC.

Feng's academic interests include finance, corporate governance and real estate investment trust. She was appointed assistant professor of finance at UGC in 2003, and became associate professor in 2009.

She has presented her work at conferences in China and the United Kingdom, and has written articles in peer-reviewed journals. She has also written a chapter in a book examining the economics of women in the workplace,

Feng is a member of the Financial Management Association International, the American Finance Association, and the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association.

She received her bachelor of science degree in applied mechanics from Fudan University in Shanghai, and both her master of business administration and Ph.D. in business administration with a major in finance from the University of Connecticut.
