Clarkson University Wins Education Digital Marketing Award

The third annual Education Digital Marketing Awards has honored the Clarkson University Office of Marketing & External Relations for its social media content.

Education Digital Marketing AwardClarkson's Twitter feed (@ClarksonUniv) was named a Bronze Winner for 2015. A national panel of industry specialists with the Education Digital Marketing Awards reviewed social media accounts run by universities throughout the country to select the top sites.

"We are pleased to have received this recognition by the Higher Education Marketing Report," says Vice President for External Relations Kelly Chezum. "Twitter is just one of the many social media channels which Clarkson uses to communicate with our prospective and current students, alumni, parents, friends and faculty and staff. Recognition like this gives us an indication that our Marketing & External Relations team is using this tool in a way that benefits our many audiences."

The Education Digital Marketing Awards recognizes the best educational websites, digital content, electronic communications, mobile media and social media. Certificates were awarded to entrants whose programs and materials displayed exceptional quality, creativity and message effectiveness.
