Student Life Questions:


How can I get involved on campus?
Clarkson has over 100 recognized student organizations on campus.  For a full list check out https://knightlife.clarkson.edu/.

How can I get involved in the community?
Volunteering and community service can be one of the most fulfilling opportunities you'll find at Clarkson.  A list of volunteer opportunities can be found at http://clarkson.edu/campus_life/clubs/volunteering.html.

Scheduling Questions:


How do I build my schedule?
Fall schedules for incoming first year students will be made by the Registrar, so incoming students do not need to worry about making their first schedule.

When do I get my schedule?
First year schedules will be available on Peoplesoft starting August 9th 2016.

Who do I talk to if I have questions about my schedule or if I need to make changes?
For any scheduling questions contact your academic advisor or the registrar at registrar@clarkson.edu.

How do I transfer AP credits?
If you do not have a transfer credit request form on your Peoplesoft To-Do list, send an email over to the registrar at reistrar@clarkson.edu

Residence Life Questions:


When do I get my roommate?
If you have already completed your housing contract, roommate assignments will be available on Peoplesoft beginning July 5th, 2016.

What furniture is provided to me in my residence hall room?
All rooms have a bed, dresser, desk, and desk chair for each resident.

What size fridge should I bring?
There are no size requirements for mini fridges, however, full-size fridges are not allowed in residence hall rooms.

Can I loft my bed?
Yes! During move-in day RAs and facilities will be around if you would like to loft your bed.  During the semester if you would like to loft or un-loft your bed, you will need to put in a work order.

What is the policy on coffee makers and hot water kettles?
Coffee makers, such as Keurigs, are allowed as long as they do not have an open heat source.  Hot water kettles are not permitted in residence hall rooms.

What should I bring?

How does laundry work on campus?
Laundry is free for residential students and available in all residence halls.  All you need to bring is your own laundry bag and laundry detergent for cold water washing!

How often does my Declining Balance replenish?
Decling Balance replenishes every semester.

What happens to my unused Knight Card balance at the end of the semester?
Your unused Knight Card balance will roll over from semester to semester.
